Higher Incentives for Energy Savings Scheme Installers
Expand your customer pipeline and grow your business by becoming an Energy Savings Scheme installer – you can give your customers discounts on the installation of heat pump water heaters.
The Energy Savings Scheme (the Scheme) heat pump hot water incentive is paid to installers who can pass on a discount to customers. Discounting the cost of installing a heat pump water heater will help customers save energy and reduce the cost of their energy bills.
WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME AN INSTALLER WITH THIS SCHEME
To help accelerate the uptake of heat pump water heaters, our Safeguard Acceleration Program is offering higher incentives to installers over the next 2 years. The higher incentives will be available until 2027 or until the funding for these higher incentives is exhausted. After 2027, installers can continue to access incentives at the standard market value.

HOW TO BECOME AN INSTALLER IN THIS SCHEME
– Partner with an Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP) such as EC Focus & discuss partnership opportunities.
– Once you have partnered with an ACP and have completed the required training, you can include the discount in your quotes to customers.
– Advertise your higher discount to your customers.
– After installing the eligible heat pump water heater, you must collect the evidence requirements under this Scheme and submit the paperwork to your ACP.
